Sheena LaShay Young - Stage Manager and Theater Artist
Sheena L. Young is a freelance non-equity stage manager and theater artist based in New York, NY. Sheena's most recent project was working as the Production Stage Manager of the US Premiere of the Empress of China.
The show recently ended a successful run in Hong Kong with the direction of playwright Joanna Chan of the Yangtze Repertory Theatre of America. Sheena is excited for this production for many reasons.

Sheena's other theater credits include multiple shows with Redmoon Theatre such as Winter Pageant 2009 directed by Vanessa Stalling, Winter Pageant Redux 2008 & Boneyard Prayer, both directed by Frank Maugeri. 
 
Three of Sheena's previous SM projects were nominated for Chicago's Jeff Awards.Congratulations Redmoon Theater and Infamous CommonWealth Theater and the various artist who aided in this wonderful achievement!
 
Boneyard Prayer was nominated for Best New Work, Best Original Incidental Music and Best Artistic Specialization (puppetry).
 
Winter Pagaent Redux was nominated for Best Sound Design.
